Service project description: List duties of volunteers. Both sites will be prepped for pollinator green spaces.

FIRST STOP
1183 South Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221
Prep for pollinator green space to contain large flower beds that spell the word: “L”, “O”, “V”, “E” … Beds can be in ground or raised. The Activities / Tasks include the following:

1. Cut grass, remove weeds, collect any trash, remove trash & weeds from site.

2. Draw and mark large letters “L”, “O”, “V”, “E” … where flower beds will be placed, in ground or raised. Letters can be outlined in a minimum of a 5 feet square space or more but must be aesthetically pleasing for a neighborhood.

SECOND STOP
2300 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
General clean up on site and around the site area. The Activities / Tasks include the following:

1. Cut grass, remove weeds, collect any trash, remove trash & weeds from site.

Location of Lunch/PickUp: 1183 South Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221 (empty lot)
We will make a request from a past lunch provider if a lunch donation can be made available.

No attire is mandatory, however, gloves are recommended as an option.

Rain Plan: We can try to wait the rain out for 60 minutes in vehicles or at neighboring community center. If the rain persists over 60 minutes, the service project can be postponed or rescheduled to a day and time convenient to the volunteers and weather.

Additional Information:
The Project Love Coalition is not funded and is people-powered to exist and accordingly we would truly appreciate any support that can be rendered. The City of Pittsburgh government (Adopt-A-Lot) requires that a Hold Harmless Agreement be signed by each volunteer. We can provide that agreement. Also, we will make a request from a past lunch provider if a lunch donation can be made available.
